This project is based on advanced carbon emission monitoring technology, through “one cloud, one map” IoT architecture to obtain carbon emission amount from chimneys of the power plants. Meanwhile it can monitor carbon concentration at atmosphere around these power plants in order to control the carbon emission condition.


So far, the results of this project
have shown:automatic monitoring can obtain the total carbon emissions data at different
time periods, which can more accurately support carbon emission management and
avoid data falsification. The statistical results of carbon emissions in
different time periods (minutes, hours, days) are the same, with small errors
and high accuracy. The smaller time
period (such as minutes or hours), the
more effective and the more sensitive to reflect the operating status of the
boiler of the power plant.
