The project sets up total of 10 terminal odor monitoring instruments, including 7 in the industry area and 3 out of the industry area, as left figure shown. All monitoring points can obtain the 8 types of gas concentrations which are required by the “National Emission standards for odor pollutants”(GB 14554-93), including hydrogen sulfide,ammonia, trimethylamine, carbon disulfide, methyl mercaptan, styrene, methyl sulfide, and dimethyl disulfide. 1 instrument can obtain meteorological parameters, including wind speed, wind direction, air temperature, air humidity and air pressure which are used to track and trace odor emission source.

The odor gas online monitoring intelligent system can reflect the real-time odor pollution condition of recycling economy industry area of fengtai district timely and accurately.  The system effectively improves the comprehensive response capability of the management department. It reduce the harmfulness caused by odor pollution accident and save the deodorization, operation, and management costs of related facilities.
